Space Mash

Space Mash is a bullet-hell shooter in the retro style of the earliest arcade games. To help beginners, older players and those with a motor impairment, there are five levels of slow-down that can be activated at any time during game play.

About the Game

Note: Space Mash was released for a while, but due to the level of sales not covering the costs of doing business, it has been taken down for now and only the free demo remains.  Very much hope to re-release the game in the future, as I plan to make more games for Steam.  Thank you very much for your patience.

Looking for a shooter but put off by the insane skill required by the faster games? Space Mash could be for you, a wild bullet-hell shooter that allows the player to slow the action right down at any time.

Space Mash features traditional bullet hell essentials such as non-random levels that enable you to memorise enemy attacks, aimed and fixed-pattern bullets with bullet-herding game-play, points for bullet-grazing, enforced one-credit clear on all 10 levels, tap-dodging, single player shot mechanic to maximise the benefits of point-blank attacks, hidden bonuses and of course, end-of-level bosses with multiple attack patterns.
