Soul Stake

Soul Stake is an adult fantasy card game about tense duels, risky decisions, and spiritual wagers. At its core, the game is inspired by blackjack-style 21: reach the exact target number or get closer than your opponent. But victory depends on more than luck — trump cards, skill effects, and opponent behavior can completely change the outcome of a round.

You play as Kairen Veid, the Jade Wanderer, an adventurer who accidentally releases nine powerful female spirits from the ancient game table of Shen Jiu. They steal his spiritual power and scatter across the world. To reclaim what was taken, Kairen must find each spirit and defeat her in the Sacred Game.

Each round is a tactical duel. Draw cards, stop at the right moment, play skill cards, or take a risky chance to reach the perfect score. Trump cards can adjust your total, protect you, remove effects, swap cards, reveal the next card, or even change the target number for the round.

Every opponent has her own personality, deck, and playstyle. Some are cautious, some are aggressive, some manipulate trump cards, and some pressure you into making mistakes. To win, you must learn how each spirit plays, manage your spiritual energy, and build a skill deck that fits your strategy.

Defeat spirits, unlock new cards, progress through each opponent’s stages, reveal gallery artwork, and recover your stolen power one duel at a time.
