About the Game

You owe the crown 5000 gold. You have 7 days.

Knight Kairen returned alone from a doomed expedition. The king calls it negligence. The punishment: an "atonement tithe." Gather 5000 gold in 7 days or lose your name, your title, and your freedom.

The lands beyond Valenford are dangerous. The forests hide predators. The villages hide worse. The graveyards never stay quiet. And somewhere beneath it all, something called the Summit is watching.

Explore. Fight. Decide.

  • Procedural maps — Every location is generated fresh. Forests, villages, graveyards. Each biome has its own enemies, NPCs, and secrets. No two runs are the same.

  • Card-based combat — Guess higher or lower. Simple to learn, deep to master. Each enemy has unique attack patterns, minigames, and abilities that change how you fight.

  • Time is your true enemy — A real-time countdown runs during exploration. Every step, every shop visit, every detour costs seconds you cannot recover.

  • 18 enemies — Each with a unique map behavior and battle mechanic. Goblins throw bombs. Ghosts phase in and out. The Village Guard is a wall you must break.

  • 9 NPCs — A baker who lost her son. A captain who refused to lead again. A cartographer who maps every body he finds. A nameless knight who paid five times and never left.

  • 40 items — Weapons, armor, artifacts, potions. Every item carries a story. The sword was standard issue for a regiment that no longer exists.

The Casino

A door appears in the wall. It wasn't there a moment ago. Behind it: the Veiled Apex. A gambling hall that costs 1 HP to enter. The odds are fair. That's the cruelest part.

Win gold to shorten your journey. Lose and fall deeper. The Apex watches with a single unblinking eye. It does not cheat. It does not need to.

The Truth

Notes scattered across the land tell a different story than the one the king told you. The debt may not be yours. The system may be older than the crown. And the reason no debtor dies in these lands has nothing to do with mercy.

How much you discover depends on how you play. Rush to the exit and you'll pay your debt in ignorance. Explore every corner and the world reveals itself. 8 endings await, shaped by your choices, your knowledge, and your gold.
