About the Game

Solar Core is a top-down twin-stick roguelike where the enemies are the music. Every hostile, every bullet pattern, every wave choreographed to the beat.  Each run, you'll upgrade your ship as you push deeper through the original soundtrack.

SELECT YOUR FIGHTER

Each ship plays completely different, not just stat differences, but entirely distinct movement and combat identities.

From hitting abilities on beat to build damage stacks, to micro-managing gravitational black holes until they go supernova. From a ship propelled entirely by its own recoil, to one that forgoes aiming entirely in favor of controlling the orbit of its fragments.

BOSS FIGHTS THAT EVOLVE WITH THE MUSIC

Boss fights have their attacks shift and escalate as the track builds, new phases triggered by the music, not just your health bar. The song isn't background noise. It's the fight.
