About the Game

Restore Life Through Creativity

Softscape is a relaxing first-person sandbox builder where you transform barren spaces into peaceful living gardens.

Start with dry, forgotten plots. Route water through the land, shape the ground, paint natural terrain, place paths, add edging, choose your plants, and decorate each space in your own style.

There are no timers. No pressure. No rush.

Just the quiet satisfaction of turning something empty into something alive.

Build Gardens Your Way

Every plot in Softscape is a small creative canvas.

Choose from a growing collection of trees, shrubs, flowers, water features, paths, trims, benches, and decorative objects to create gardens that feel personal to you.

Build neat and structured spaces, wild natural gardens, cozy corners, symmetrical layouts, or peaceful little sanctuaries filled with plants and movement.

The tools are simple to use, but flexible enough to create countless variations.

Shape, Irrigate, Plant, Restore

Each garden is built through a calm creative loop:

Irrigation

Connect water systems and place sprinklers to bring dry soil back to life. Water unlocks the potential of each plot and prepares it for planting.

Landscaping

Use intuitive brushes to paint grass, soil, stone, bark, and other terrain types. Shape the structure of your garden with paths, natural areas, and decorative ground textures.

Planting

Fill your space with trees, shrubs, flowers, and garden objects. Complete the needs of each plot while still designing it in your own way.

As each space comes together, the world slowly begins to feel alive again.

The Grand Tree

At the heart of Softscape is the Grand Tree, a quiet symbol of restoration.

As you bring life back to forgotten spaces, the world around the Grand Tree slowly awakens. Leaves return. Flowers bloom. Nature begins to reclaim what was lost.

Softscape is not only about making gardens look beautiful. It is about the feeling of care, patience, and presence that comes from creating something peaceful with your own hands.

A Calm Creative Atmosphere

Softscape is designed to be a peaceful place to return to.

Expect:

  • Relaxing first-person sandbox gameplay

  • Cozy low-poly visuals

  • Satisfying planting and landscaping tools

  • Ambient environmental soundscapes

  • Gentle wildlife and visual effects

  • No timers or fail states

  • Creative freedom across every garden

Whether you want to carefully design a beautiful space or simply relax and place flowers for a while, Softscape gives you room to slow down.

Development Roadmap

Softscape is still growing, and future updates are planned to expand the creative tools, environments, and restoration systems over time.

Possible future additions include:

  • More plants, trees, flowers, and decorations

  • Additional environments and biomes

  • New landscaping and placement tools

  • More ways to personalize your gardens

  • Seasonal themes and visual variety

Softscape’s goal is to become a peaceful creative sandbox where every player can build spaces that feel uniquely their own.
