Snowbound: Dead of Winter is a roguelite farming game with tower defense elements. Build your farm, survive the night with a range of defenses, and complete missions to progress deeper into the forest.
Your farm is the heart of gameplay. Grow crops, refine them, and sell them for lots of money. Place a variety of buildings to refine existing items, or produce entirely new ones. Choose your strategy carefully, and be careful what you place, or risk angering the forest and becoming overwhelmed at night.
Once night comes, go inside your home and manage your defenses. Strike a balance between buying new defenses and expanding your farm to earn enough money to complete your mission. The longer you stay, the more monsters arrive.
Should you choose to stay longer in your mission, grow the Witheroot tree for increased rewards. After you complete your mission, spend valuable sap to unlock new buildings, defenses, and modifiers. With new tools, conquer missions at higher forest depths.
