Snooze: A Choice

Wake up. Get ready. Go to work. Wake up. Get ready. Go to work. Wake up. Get ready. Feed the demon? Go to work. Daily life might be getting to you, but your medication is taking care of that, right? Or maybe it's making things worse. Rise and grind or choose to snooze?

About the Game

Snooze: A Choice is a first-person interactive narrative and psychological horror game. It asks questions about the way our daily lives affect us, how our routines interfere with our mental health, and why consuming medication may not always be the best solution.

Features

  • Play a short story, about 30 - 60 minutes, in which you carry out a typical morning routine getting ready for work for a week. However, the environment and events quickly become increasingly strange and unnerving.

  • Explore your apartment, and interact with items to complete objectives, go to work, and survive to wake another day.

  • Immerse yourself in an atmospheric world with spatial audio, dynamic lighting, and, yes, occasional jump scares.

  • Make a choice that ultimately decides between two different endings.

  • Resolution and sensitivity settings are available.

  • Switch seamlessly between controller and mouse/keyboard.

Developer's Note

I am a solo dev, and this is my first full game release. It is not a long game, but I truly hope you find it, at the very least, intriguing and enjoyable. I have learned a lot on this journey, and I hope to bring more games like this to you in the future. Thank you for being part of my story.
