6 itemsAbout the Game
SLYTHE is an arcade shooter roguelite where you steer an ever-moving snake of heroes — each with their own attacks, passives, and classes. Inspired by auto-battlers: stack heroes of the same class for powerful class bonuses, buy copies to level them up, and build a snake that clears the arena on its own — if you steer it right.
Between arenas you play the economy: hire from the shop, bank gold for interest, ban the heroes you never want offered again, and shape a build from 80+ passive items with run-warping effects. Every sixth arena throws an elite at you; arena 25 holds the final boss. Beating it is where SLYTHE starts, not where it ends.
And you don't have to do it alone: grab a second controller and put two snakes in the same arena.

Gameplay
- Your snake never stops moving — steer it with keyboard, mouse-follow, or gamepad (two stick modes)
- Your heroes attack automatically when enemies are near
- Combine heroes of the same class to unlock unique class bonuses
- Clearing arenas grants gold — spend it, or bank it and earn interest
- Buying copies of the same hero levels them up; at Lv.3 they unlock special effects
- Ban heroes from the shop to sharpen your odds — build control is the real weapon
Two snakes, one couch
- Local co-op: a second player joins with a gamepad and steers their own snake with their own build
- Separate parties, shared gold — split the shop, argue about rerolls, negotiate the economy
- Go down mid-arena and you're out until your partner clears it — clutch saves get loud
- Enemies bulk up for two, and bosses doubly so — bring a real build, not a passenger
Beyond the win
- True endless mode — difficulty keeps scaling for as long as you survive
- Loop past arena 25 with a run-defining relic each time around — and a new chaos modifier stacking every loop
- New Game + tiers stack lasting difficulty for veteran builds
- A global all-time leaderboard — names, avatars, and your rank right on the main menu
- Custom runs with game-twisting modifiers when you want the rules bent
