In world where humans and monsters all battle one another exists the country of Moireauxvais, also known as the Demon Kingdom.

Roguelite
Skill Eater is a roguelite adventure where each run throws new enemies your way...and death means starting over. At times, you'll need to be cautious; at others, daring as you battle and devour your foes.
But you'll find this game pleasantly simple and easy to learn. Battles are turn-based like an RPG. Choose your skills, shop in towns, and pick your next destination. But choose wisely, as your choices could very well decide your fate...
Devour
Devour enemies by depleting their HP without fully wiping them out. With each successful devour, you'll be able to steal stats and skill for yourself, and your choices just might determine your fate.
Powerful foes offer greater rewards, but at greater risk. At times, you may need to defeat foes entirely or even flee battle. Assess the situation and choose your path: defeat, devour, or escape.
A successful devour even lets you take on your prey’s form.
Towns
Do some shopping in human or monster towns where you can purchase skills, items, and stats, as well as stay the night at inns to recover. Beware, however, that you can only enter human towns while in human form, and monster towns while in monster form, so be sure to devour the right opponent beforehand.
Items
Items can be purchased at human towns, ranging from highly powerful articles to utterly useless ones. Some enemies carry items, meaning you can steal them with your Devour skill. But that also means they can use items on you, so be on the lookout.
