Silent Waters

No blood or violence. It's a horror game, though! Best played alone on a quiet night. Yet... is there really no way to help that poor monster?

About the Game

[ How to Play ]

Find six ring-shaped floaties before the monster catches you, and grab the key to the escape exit!

Useful items are scattered around to help you. For example, if you hold enough “Sprint Candies," you can use consecutive dashes to escape even if the monster spots you. (Further details can be discovered in-game.)

[ The Lore & Story ]

  • Omega Genome Corp.
Known publicly as a manufacturer of pharmaceuticals and biopharmaceuticals, Omega Genome was secretly conducting mutant experiments and pushing forward a massive human experimentation initiative. Through this plan, they rapidly acquired subjects, triggering "that incident." After the factory was demolished, a swimming pool was built on the site. However, the resulting anomalies began affecting local residents, eventually forcing the pool to close. While Omega Genome Corp. itself avoided direct implication, the true mastermind was "Abseark"—a shadow organization led by the company's CEO.

  • Memorflota
A ring-shaped wooden artifact used in ancient rituals. It has the power to awaken spiritual energy, seal memories and emotions, and purify the past. However, its exact mechanism remains unknown.

  • Magi: Hallucination Device
Utilizing the supernatural power of the Memorflota, someone created a device to awaken superconsciousness. While there is no concrete proof of Abseark's involvement, activating the Magi requires a specific type of "water," making a connection highly likely. The "Rings" resemble small inner tubes. Whether they are terminals used to drive the device, or the device itself, remains unknown for now. The Sunny Ring Co. logo keychain looks exactly like a "Ring"—perhaps causing a blur of reality within the monster's hallucination?

  • Sunny Ring Co.
A company specializing in plumbing installation, repair, and water quality management, with a strong focus on industrial water treatment facilities and monitoring equipment. They provided a wide range of services including equipment transport, setup, commissioning, and maintenance. However, following "that incident," they lost public trust and suffered devastating losses. As investigations to uncover the truth progressed, the dark secrets of the factory that once stood there began to surface.

  • That Incident
It all began when the factory owned by Omega Genome Corp. was demolished and a swimming pool was built on its ruins. Strange transformations began appearing in the pool's patrons, soon affecting the local residents and Sunny Ring Co. as well. The mayor was bribed into silence, and while the pool was eventually shut down, the local community and Sunny Ring Co. suffered immeasurable damage in the process.

[ Behind the Illusion ]

You are trapped within a hallucination generated by the Magi. Why you were locked away in this illusion remains a mystery. Within the device’s field of influence, the boundary between reality and unreality ceases to matter.

As Nietzsche once suggested, perhaps facts never existed to begin with.

Is everything merely a re-illusion of an illusion?

[ Prologue: The Setup ]

Running on a few days of sleep deprivation, it looks like you accidentally dozed off. You have to scoff at yourself—you really can fall asleep just about anywhere, can't you?

Let's see, this is the old community pool... or what's left of it. Oh, right. Yesterday, everyone talked about doing a test of courage here. Those guys always take things too far. Wait... has no one else arrived yet?

You're starting to get a really bad feeling about this.
