About the Game

A signal that shouldn't exist. An archive that was never meant to be found.

You are an operator assigned to investigate the Silence Archives — a classified repository of 120 intercepted documents, internal reports, and encrypted communications. Your terminal is your only interface. Your commands are your only weapons.

Somewhere in the noise, a 47Hz signal anomaly pulses. The deeper you dig, the more the Federation notices.

OBSERVE. BUT KNOW THAT OBSERVATION CHANGES EVERYTHING.

Every archive you read shifts the σ (sigma) curvature index — a quantum-inspired metric that tracks how far your investigation has altered the trajectory of events. Once it crosses the irreversible threshold, there is no going back. You

are no longer just the observer. You are part of the signal.

CORE MECHANICS

- Terminal Interface — No menus, no maps. Type commands into a CRT-style terminal. Search, open, analyze, decode.

- σ Curvature System — Your reading choices accumulate into an irreversible metric. Three phases: Reversible → Critical → Irreversible. Every file tips the balance.

- Clearance Levels — Start at LEVEL 0. As you uncover cross-references and decrypt Valis ciphers, your clearance rises through 6 tiers up to OMEGA — unlocking classified "B-side" documents hidden beneath the surface.

- Federation Threat Clock — The Silicon Federation monitors your activity. Suspicious searches, unauthorized access attempts, and erratic behavior raise your threat level. Push too hard, and the system pushes back.

- Valis Encryption — Hidden annotations in select archives contain encrypted messages. Crack the ciphers to access deeper truths.

- Conspiracy Board — Pin entities, draw connections, trace hidden relationships across the archive. The red strings reveal what the documents alone cannot.

THREE ENDINGS. YOUR INVESTIGATION STYLE DECIDES.

Your path through the archives shapes which ending you reach:

- The Standard Report — A balanced investigation. Methodical. Thorough. The "official" conclusion.

- The Paranoid Dossier — Obsessive cross-referencing. Trust nothing. See patterns everywhere.

- The Distorted Signal — Maximum σ curvature. You didn't just observe the signal — you became it.

PART OF THE SILENCE PROTOCOL UNIVERSE

Silence Archives Terminal is a companion experience to The Silence Protocol trilogy. The 120 archives contain fragments of a larger story — but the terminal stands alone as a complete investigation.

The silence is not empty. It is full of answers.
