Play as Shroomie, a curious little mushroom navigating the ever-changing wilderness of Shroomwood. This top-down 2D roguelike adventure blends fast-paced combat with dynamic dungeon exploration. Each run through the Shroomwood forest offers new challenges, randomized rooms, and a host of peculiar creatures from classical slimes to zombie-infested mushrooms. Discover powerful weapons, stack unique modifiers, and uncover the secrets hidden within vibrant and unique biomes.

In Shroomwood, no two journeys are the same. The forest rearranges itself with every playthrough, offering fresh combinations of handcrafted rooms connected by a procedurally-generated dungeon layout. Equip diverse weapons, enhance them with random modifications, and face off against magical foes in your quest to survive the wild, remaining alert of the dangers lurking around every corner.
We blended the shooting mechanics of traditional roguelikes such as Enter the Gungeon and Binding of Isaac with a brand new melee system to create a roguelike that put a creative spin on the classic tried-and-true formula! There are more bullets, more enemies, more death, and more fun.
Find over 20 unique weapons over 50 unique modifiers with stat changing and gameplay changing effects throughout your journey!
In between runs you will spend your time in Shroomstead, a small clearing in the Shroomwood forest where you and your fellow species of sentient mushrooms live. Meet NPCs, upgrade your weapons, discover magical obelisks, and much more! You can also find a shop in every run to cash in your Shroomstone, recover health, meeting interesting NPCs, and, of course, buy new stuff.
