About the Game

Welcome, Farmer

Shoot & Sow is a top-down arena shooter roguelite, where players control unique characters and fight vegetables and fruits. Players can plant seeds to grow special items, as well as buy a variety of weapons and items to help them in their cause. Complete talent tree by defeating bosses to further upgrade your characters. Can you survive on your own farm?

Farm


There is one unusual feature on your farm: the plants that grow on it are very aggressive. As you move between islands on this farm, you choose what types of plants will grow on next islands. Each plant has its own unique quirks and ways to stop you. For example, carrots split in half upon deaths, eggplants sometimes charges at you, and grapes grow in groups.

Bosses


Each run consists of 4 cycles, and at the end of each cycle you will face a large plant boss. Each boss has unique attacks, which become harder and more complex with each cycle. By defeating the boss or dealing significant damage to him, you will receive upgraded item boxes.

Weapons


There are several types of weapons in the game: melee, ranged, mortars, lasers and elemental weapons. Each of them has unique properties, attack patterns and set bonuses.

Items


On your journey you will come across boxes with random items in them, granting you power to defeat hostile plants and polish your build.

Seeds


Fill planters with seeds to grow powerful items that activate under certain conditions. Grown items that are left in their boxes will evolve and change into different ones, if they are left untouched. Gather items that fit your build and let other ones grow a little longer, until they will be of use to your character.

Talents


As you progress through the game, you will earn stars, which will allow you to upgrade your characters and unlock new weapons. Gain new ways of defeating aggressive plants on your farm.
