The shelves are a disaster, the tapes are everywhere, and the store opens soon. As the new clerk of a retro video store, your job is simple to say and hard to master: pick up every scattered movie tape, read its title, figure out its genre, and place it on the right shelf. No labels, no hints — just your movie instincts. Your survival behind the counter depends not on speed alone, but on how well you read every title that lands in your hands.

Every Tape Belongs Somewhere

From Blood Cabin to Quantum Drift, hundreds of original movies — and their sequels — are waiting to be shelved. Horror, Sci-Fi, Comedy, Romance, Action, Thriller, Fantasy and many more genres each have their own dedicated shelves. Guess right and the shelf glows green. Guess wrong and it flashes red, and the mess wins another round. Some titles are obvious, some will make you stop and think, and a few will fool you completely.

Every Placement Matters

Efficiency is everything. Plan your route through the aisles, decide which tapes to grab first, and keep sequels together — Part 1, 2 and 3 of a series are scattered all over the store, waiting to be reunited on the same shelf. Complete a full shelf to lock in your progress and push the store one step closer to perfect order. Hasty guesses waste time; smart sorting wins the day.

Enjoy the calm, cozy satisfaction of sorting alone, or invite your friends into 2-4 player co-op and turn tidying into beautiful chaos. Split the aisles, call out genres, pass tapes down the line — teamwork gets the store spotless faster... in theory.

Completing shelves and earning XP unlocks abilities that make you a sharper, faster clerk. Carry more tapes at once, spot genres quicker, move faster between aisles, and build your own strategy for turning a mountain of cassettes into perfect order.
