About the Game

January 1993. You join as a junior lawyer with nothing. You have seven years and a briefcase.

Shark in a Suit is a 90s law firm management game. Every week you choose your cases, manage your team, buy shares in your firm, and expand internationally. The world runs without you — AI firms recruit, plead, and grow while you sleep.

Before every trial, you open a physical case file. Police reports, bank statements, witness testimonies. The suspicious zones are invisible. You find contradictions by reading, not by mousing over everything until something lights up. Miss an inconsistency and the opposing counsel uses it against you. A lost case is lost permanently.

Build your empire, lie in court if you must, survive hostile takeovers, and reach Legend of the Bar status before December 31, 1999. Three possible endings depending on how you played.

Career simulation from 1993 to 1999 with real dates and a real deadline. Document examination system where you find inconsistencies in physical 90s case files. Active AI competition where other firms live, grow, and attempt hostile takeovers. Moral alignment system with real consequences on available cases and recruits. School partnerships, intern system, bar exams in 6 countries. Weekly newspaper journal with narrative events. 3 career objectives, 3 endings, 20 Steam achievements.
