About the Game

A Dual-Faced Deckbuilder of Yin and Yang

Shanhai Exorcist: Yin-Yang Chronicles is a single-player turn-based roguelike deckbuilder set in a world of exorcists, spirits, and demons. Choose a school, build a focused deck, read each enemy's intent, and decide when to press your advantage or prepare for the next attack.

Flip Every Card

Cards have Yin and Yang faces with different costs and effects. Flip a card to change its role, then manage your Taiji state and Qi to shape the turn you need. A defensive card can become an attack, a setup card can become a payoff, and the right sequence can turn a dangerous round into a decisive finish.

Choose One of Four Schools

Sword Cultivator — Build Sword Intent, Unsheathe, chain strikes, then Sheathe before greed leaves you exposed.

Five Phases — Place elemental Seals, work with Generation and Overcoming, then trigger Resonance.

Summoner — Deploy familiars, change their positions, issue Commands, and choose when to Sacrifice them.

Karma — Record Causes and Karma Debts, let them mature, then settle them at the right moment.

Read the Enemy, Then Commit

Enemy intents reveal incoming attacks, defenses, counters, and disruptive moves. Plan around what is coming, protect the resources your deck needs, and recognize the window for a finishing sequence.

Shape Every Run

Travel across branching routes, take on battles and high-pressure encounters, and improve your deck with new cards, Artifacts, and Elixirs. Normal, Hard, and Nightmare difficulties let you choose how demanding the climb should be.

Keep Track of Your Progress

Manage run saves from the main menu, review discovered cards and enemies in the Codex, and check long-term records in the Career screen.
