About the Game

Shadey’s Quest is an autobattler roguelike in which you help a cute monster named Shadey on his journey to defeat the fearsome King of Shadows. Shadey is bursting with energy and determination — but not with intelligence. It's up to you to feed him to build up his strength, equip him with powerful artifacts, and guide him in combat.

Explore a variety of hand-drawn locations, from the desolate Greylands to the majestic Black Seat. Each area is filled with unique obstacles, dangers and plenty of loot!

Face lots of enemies, each with their own unique abilities. Shadey fights on his own, but tactics aren't exactly his strong suit. You’ll have to develop your own strategy, targeting Shadey at the most dangerous foes. Or just let him choose targets himself. He'll be fine. Probably.

Most fighters grow stronger through hard-won experience. Shadey gets the same results with a meal.

Gather ingredients, cook them up and feed Shadey to boost his stats. It is up to you if Shadey becomes a nimble assassin landing devastating critical hits, or an immovable tank who counters every blow.
