About the Game

Serpent Squad is a modified version of SNKRX (by a327ex, MIT License), adding multilingual support, controller input support, and changes to squad controls, among other improvements. This is a bullet‑hell roguelike game where you control a snake‑like squad made up of multiple heroes, each with their own attacks, passives, and classes. Inspired by the auto‑battler genre, each hero in the squad belongs to a class, and collecting enough heroes of the same class grants additional class bonuses. Buying the same hero in the shop lets you level that hero up and make that hero stronger.

Gameplay

• The squad moves forward automatically; use up/down/left/right to steer

• Heroes automatically attack when close to enemies

• Combine heroes of the same class to unlock unique class bonuses

• Clearing stages grants gold, which can be used to buy heroes in the shop

• Buying enough copies of the same hero will level them up and make them stronger

Features

• 16 classes, each providing stat bonuses to your squad

• 50+ heroes, each with unique attacks and passives

• 80+ relics, each providing powerful global effects for your squad

• 25+ stages with progressively increasing difficulty
