About the Game

What's Sequence?

Sequence is a dice-based poker game, multiplayer & competitive, inspired by the classics Generala/Yahtzee/Yacht/Yatzy (every area of the world has a name for the game!). Now, players from all over the world can compete to climb the ranks - will you become a Senior Master?

How on earth do you play this?

The aim of the game is to score more points than the opponent. There are 13 categories, and the player has a maximum of 13 turns in a game.

In each of the 13 turns of play, the player has up to a maximum of 3 dice rolls to complete a category. After the first and second rolls, you may set aside the useful dice and reroll the rest. After the second roll, you may re-roll any dice you have saved from the previous roll. After the third roll, you are forced to score in a category, whether you have completed it or not.

Ranked Multiplayer in a dice game?

Yes! Competitive mode uses the ELO rating system to evaluate player performance, mainly used in chess and other games of skill. As this is a game where chance is important, a luck factor has been added to the ELO score calculation, so that if you lose due to pure luck of the opponent, the two scores will not vary as much.

In addition, depending on your ELO score, you will get a rank or title.
  • Poor, Smarty, Skilled, Genius, Master and Senior Master

What a stress of competitive play! Can I play in a relaxed way?

Of course! Play matches against AI opponents with funny names in the training mode - try your hand at beating them!

You can also create unranked private matches to play with friends.

Anything else?

You can choose from a wide variety of cups, which can be unlocked as you progress through the rankings. You can also customise the name of the big play. Depending on the country, it is known as Generala, Yahtzee, Yatzy, Yacht, Five of a Kind...
