About the Game

Scry is a roguelike tactics deck-builder. Escape a twisted prison plane, battling enemies, elites, and bosses as you build a deck in each run.

Tactical Turn-Based Combat

  • Spend Action Points to move and play cards like spells, attacks, and equipment

  • Your hero's health persists across encounters

  • Passive artefactums and items can give you an advantage (or a disadvantage!)

Summon Allies.

You enter each battle alone.

As you progress, you acquire ally cards that allow you to summon companions onto the battlefield. Once summoned, each ally adds their own unique cards or passives to your deck while they are active.

Powerful combos and synergies can be found between allies and the cards you draft

A Shifting Path to the Surface

Traverse a branching procedural overworld map inspired by classic roguelikes. Choose your route, weighing risk versus reward. No two escape attempts follow the same path.

Condemned Heroes

Each starting hero begins their run with different cards.

  • Unique starting decks

  • Distinct tactical identities

  • Multiple deck archetypes

A Harsh World Beneath

  • Hand-crafted pixel art

  • Atmospheric environments

  • Grotesque enemies

  • Unknown dangers, traps, and curses

The portal out of this hell is somewhere above.

If you can reach it.
