About the Game

Scenemates is a co-op platformer for 2 to 8 players, local and online. You and your friends play as roommates chasing their dream of becoming movie stars, one chaotic film production at a time.

Cooperation or chaos — your call.

Scenemates is built around one simple mechanic : you can help, or you can hinder. Hit switches together to open a path, move crates as a team, or use those exact same tools against your teammates. Cooperation will often be necessary to progress but sometimes, a well-placed kick is just too tempting to resist.

Local and online, 2 to 8 players.

Scenemates is designed to be played with people. The more players around the screen the louder it gets. Whether you're crammed on a couch or scattered across the country, the experience scales naturally : more players means more creativity, more betrayal, and considerably more yelling.

Every Level is a scene to perform.

Scenemates is built around a cooperative campaign where Cocca and Cocci — two roommates with everything to prove — work their way up through the film industry, production by production. Each film is a self-contained story inspired by a different cinematic genre, divided into scenes that serve as the game's levels. The further you go, the bigger the productions get.

Not in the mood for story? A custom mode lets you and your group set your own rules, mix up the roles, and play however you want, no Director approval required.
