About the Game

Scarf of Embers is a 3D action-platformer inspired by the classics. Leap across floating islands, collect gems, and take down mischievous Imps with fast-paced hack’n’slash combat.

You play as Mandy, a young witch of shadow and fire. Armed with her broom, a magical scarf, and a growing arsenal of spells, she sets out to rescue her lost friend and protect a world whose magic is being stolen by chaos-loving Imps.

Combat is fluid, freeform, and stylish, chain broom strikes, scarf slashes, and fiery spells into your own combos on the fly. Explore vibrant levels, discover secrets, and use movement tricks straight out of a platforming golden age.

  • Built in Unreal Engine 5.5

  • Using deferred renderer, baked lighting

  • Hack’n’slash/platformer style (so not ultra-open-world scale)
