About the Game

Your role is to be the surgical assistant of an unusual surgeon: a blindfolded man terrified of the mythological creatures he must operate on. During each surgery, you’ll need to respond quickly to his demands. Hand him over tools, keep the cryptid’s vitals stable, and even fulfill absurd requests far beyond medical logic. Your actions, or lack of them, can shape the outcome of the procedure.

The operating room is as ridiculous as the surgeon himself: a shady blend of surgical theater and cozy living room. Interact with countless objects going from scalpels to record players. Change the music, check the shelves, disinfect tools, or even enjoy a can of orange soda or pop a mystery pill in this curious surgical setup.

Though blindfolded, the surgeon is eerily omniscient. He will react to every move, mistake, or success you make. He’ll remember if you gave him the right tool… or an orange soda. He’ll get mad if you play the wrong song, and warm up when you fulfill his strange requests. The surgeon knows everything, even how many times you’ve launched Scalpel, Please! Your choices shape the narrative, changing the dialogue, and multiple endings.

Will you be an exemplary assistant or the worst mistake of his career? In Scalpel, Please!, everything can change with a single action.
