You bought a second-hand laptop.
The previous owner is still using it.
SAS // HEKS is a first-person desktop horror experience where you explore the files, messages, and systems left behind by Martin Voss. At first, it looks like an ordinary life — emails, photos, work software. Then things stop lining up.
Messages are sent at times you don’t remember.
People saw Martin where he couldn’t have been.
Files change. Records disagree.
Something is following a pattern — and you are now part of it.

Investigate Martin’s digital life through a simulated operating system. Open emails, browse archived data, inspect images, and uncover hidden files. Every interaction reveals more about what happened — and what is happening.

The deeper you go, the more the world shifts. Personal messages become warnings. Ordinary files become evidence. The system begins to respond.
A parallel trail emerges through fragmented folklore, anonymous forums, and institutional records. Different people, different languages — all describing the same intrusion.
