You wake up mid-collision — a spaceship spiraling out of control, crashing onto the shores of a future Dar es Salaam. There's no going back to where you came from. All that's left is to explore the wreckage of a world reshaped by decades of unchecked sand mining.

Sands of Time drops you into a dystopian coastline where crumbling monuments, displaced communities, and swallowed ecosystems tell the story of a resource nobody thought would run out. Journey across three distinct zones — the eroding Coastal Line, the scarred Excavation Sites, and the buried Underground City — each built from real locations, cultural landmarks, and architectural details drawn from Dar es Salaam itself.

Your goal: recover the scattered Tanzanites, luminous stones hidden throughout the ruins that unlock forgotten facts and human stories about sand mining's true cost. Climb, explore, and interact with the remnants of displaced communities and the aquatic life still clinging to what's left. Collect every Tanzanite to reach the towering hourglass on the horizon — the last chance to turn back time and restore the Earth.
