About the Game

Rewrite history across Japan’s past.

Samurai Conqueror is a historical strategy game set in Japan from the Kofun period to the Meiji era.

Strengthen your faction through domestic affairs and seize enemy territory through war in a straightforward, command-based conquest game.

The game takes place on a timeline of Japanese history. Lead one of Japan’s historical factions, recruit legendary figures, develop your realm, wage wars, and unlock historical events as you strive to unite all of Japanese history.

Relive and rewrite history through decisive events such as the Taika Reform, the Genpei War, the Ōnin War, the Battle of Sekigahara, and the Meiji Restoration.

Key Features

  • Chrono Strategy: Lead factions across the entire timeline of Japan — from the Kofun to the Meiji era — and experience how politics, warfare, and technology evolve through the ages.

  • Legendary Leaders: Assign historical heroes to govern regions, command armies, and shape the destiny of their eras.

  • Alternate History: Rewrite Japan’s past by changing the outcomes of decisive events such as the Taika Reform, Battle of Sekigahara, and Meiji Restoration.

  • Cultural Power: Strengthen your nation through culture, diplomacy, and innovation to unlock new achievements and reforms.
