About the Game

Saikiri is a Japanese-style roguelite survivor game built around fast-paced runs, strategic builds, and endless replayability. Complete unique objectives, defeat powerful bosses, and create overpowered combinations of weapons and items. Grow your talents, unlock new characters, and compete for the highest score across multiple challenging levels.

How long can you survive?

Each run lasts about 30 minutes and ends with a boss fight, but you can stay longer to collect more XP and grow stronger before facing it. The longer you survive, the higher you’ll climb on the global leaderboards.

Resources

In this roguelite experience, you complete random quests to level up and gather resources. There are both in-run and global resources. In-run resources, like gold coins, can be used to buy unique items in the shop. Global resources are carried between runs and can be used to upgrade your permanent passives in the menu.

Upgrade and get Overpowered

Take down enemies to gain XP and grow stronger. The more you fight, the faster you level up. Each level gives you a random upgrade, so every run plays out differently.

Characters and Weapons

You can unlock unique characters by playing the game and use global resources to purchase skins. Each character comes with their own unique weapons.

Publishing plans

We plan to release a demo this year (2026) and the full game next year (2027).
