About the Game

Stick together and use proximity chat to communicate with nearby teammates to find your way to the saferoom. Straying too far from the group could mean the difference between survival or being left behind.

After the initial outbreak, most infected became fast and aggressive, relying on large hordes and violence to overwhelm survivors. But some mutated beyond their original human forms, developing unique characteristics that will exploit any weakness and use it against you.

Traverse multiple campaigns from the snow-covered suburbs and eerie hospitals of New England to the muggy, overgrown marshes of the Carolinas as you make your way down the East Coast of the United States in search of safety.

Events and decisions throughout a campaign will force you to split from your team, making your way to the saferoom alone or in small groups. You won’t know if the rest of your team is still out there, so you’ll have to choose whether to permanently lock the saferoom door or wait for their potential arrival. Anyone left outside when the door closes will be lost.
