About the Game

Rusts Of Corruption is a game about life, death, purpose, and meaning. It is unique Point & Click Adventure game with a heavy focus on storytelling and character interactions. Speak to each robot, learn their stories. What influence will you have on them?

Rusts Of Corruption takes place on a small island on an exoplanet named Charon. Unsure of exactly how you got there, the game simply allows you to explore the island, speak to the robots inhabiting it, and learn about the troubled history of the exoplanet.

Throughout the game, you will be given the opportunity to explore the island in which the game takes place on, and you will be able to speak to characters in interactive dialog trees.

As you progress through the world, it slowly becomes corrupted by some kind of eldritch entity, forcing you to explore within a limited amount of time before the island ‘dies’.

Each robot has their own backstory, personality traits, and quirks. Some are blissfully ignorant, others are painfully aware of their coming doom, and others ponder on the meaning of life.

I believe in making games that as many people as possible to enjoy, and for this reason the game will include a large amount of accessibility options so you are as comfortable playing the game as possible.

CONTENT WARNINGS

Rusts of Corruption contains themes surrounding depression and suicide, including a scene where a suicide is depicted. This scene can be turned off in the games settings if desired.
