About the Game

Rumor Reporter is a Golden Age whodunit mystery.

Explore Greyhaven Island in the Celtic Sea as senior journalist Veronica Chase, following any lead you like and ignoring the ones you don’t. You decide how much, or how little, to investigate and answer.

Walk through 2D side-scrolling environments across a 1920s island community as you interview islanders, photograph suspicious details, and piece together the truth.

When your investigation ends, compile your thoughts, photos, and quotes into a newspaper article. Whatever you choose to print becomes a story with real consequences: shaping public sentiment, influencing the inquest jury, prompting arrests and imprisonment, and quietly altering Greyhaven’s future.
