LOSING THE PLOT

Ahoy there, me hearties! Prepare to have your timbers well and truly shivered as you enter the pell mell pirate world of Sally Forth, a plucky buccaneer on the high seas out to make a name for herself and rescue her hapless captain from the clutches of the sinister Captain Clamm. Assisted by the ship’s duck, Richardson, (they’re too broke to afford a parrot), and a cavalcade of cantankerous characters she meets along the way, Sally becomes embroiled in many a daring escapade as she strives to reinstate her motley crew and perhaps find some swaggering swag along the way. Now that’s what we call a booty call!

SETTING THE SCENE

Set against a sumptuous pixellated Carribean background, the game takes you through a variety of intriguing 2D topdown settings where you must explore and discover useful items to progress further on your compelling adventure.

Ascend Mount Death! Traverse Crocodile Swamp! Pootle through Moist Palm Island!

With amusing, sometimes ribald dialogue and plenty of scabrous, scurrilous, scandalous jokes, Rotten Planks is replete with a rip-roaring, cuttlefish-cuddling, rum-quaffing, duck-smuggling, pirate punch! Rotten Planks; an algae-addled addition to the pirate adventure cannon! (Not to be confused with rotten plankton, which just stinks.)

ROLLICKING GAMEPLAY

As explosive as a gunpowder keg, the game features riveting cut scenes which whizz along with cinematic hilarity and charm. You will find many curious cut-throat characters to interact with and intriguing places to explore. The adventure should take hearty game players somewhere between 3 to 4 hours to complete, but you will probably just want to wander around, basking in the enchanting, moody pirate soundtrack and breathe in that salty, briny sea air as if you were really one of the brave seafarers in times of yore. But watch where you step, me hearty, and who you speak to, as there are more than a few rotten planks about.
