About the Game

The year is 1899, and Japan has changed. The era of the Daimyo is over and a new law rules the land. Follow in the footsteps of your mentor to uphold justice, cast out criminal gangs and eat lots and lots of beef bowls.

Introducing RONIN DETECTIVE : A retro, pixel-art detective story for the PC. Lead our protagonist, aspiring detective Seiji Tanaka, on a journey across Meiji-Era Japan to help his friends, find adventure and keep a promise.

KEY FEATURES

  • Interrogate suspects - use charm, intimidation, bribery and presentation of the facts to get information.

  • Stalking - Use disguises, quick thinking and stealth to tail persons of interest

  • Forensics -Gather physical evidence, track footprints and dust for fingerprints.

  • Casebook - a detective is only as good as their note-taking! Taking a character description? Scribble one down. Don't have a map? Draw one! 

  • Earn money - you don't (always) have to work for free! You'll need cash to stay afloat in this business - do side quests for extra coin.
