About the Game

Rogue Dot is a high-stakes, fast-paced roguelike arena survival game where precision movement is your only defense. Dodge relentless hazards, adapt through risky upgrades, and survive an escalating series of brutal challenges.

Developed by Team Soup, this debut title places you in the role of Rogue, a specialized hacking software. Your mission: infiltrate the vault of Chaser Bank to help your creator, Jazz, strike back against a predatory economy and keep the neighborhood's lights on.

The Story

Jazz is a regular person pushed to the brink. Rent is skyrocketing, medical bills are rising, and Chaser Bank is profiting from the struggle. Jazz decides it’s time for a bit of “holiday cheer.” By deploying Rogue into the bank’s mainframe, you’ll drain the corporate coffers to pay off evictions and medical debts.

The Gameplay

In the main campaign, you navigate complex security grids within the arena while avoiding lethal anti-virus protocols. Every level is a dance with death - one hit and your connection is severed, sending you back to Level 1.

Know your Enemies:

  • Red: It follows rigid, laser-precise patrols, instantly triggering alarms if you cross its path. Analyze its timing to pass undetected.

  • Yellow: This skilled hunter investigates your last location and sets ambushes. Relocation is crucial; stay unpredictable to survive.

  • Purple: The relentless apex, Purple locks onto your digital trail and never slows. Evasion demands constant motion; hesitate, and you’re caught.

Tactical Support:

Jazz has your back. From the outside, they inject power-ups into your stream, giving you an edge:

  • Speed Boost: Outrun the fastest trackers.

  • Shield: A temporary buffer to absorb a hit.

  • Stopwatch: Manipulate time to slow enemy movement and make navigation easier.

Challenge Mode:

In Challenge Mode, each run unfolds differently. At the start of every new stage, you pick between two cards that will shape how the rest of your run plays out. Your goal: survive as the rules change around you, making every attempt unpredictable.

  • Three Strikes: You start with three lives, giving you a bit of breathing room to take risks.

  • At the beginning of each stage in Challenge Mode, you choose between two cards that will modify gameplay factors, setting the parameters for the next stage and keeping each run fresh.

  • Endless Variety: Cards can modify size, speed, and power-up frequency for both you and the enemies. Will you make yourself tiny and fast? Or will you risk a giant enemy for the chance at more power-ups?
