Robot Rumble 2 is a robot combat building simulator where you create your robot from real-world parts in the Bot Lab, then take it to the it arena to defeat other robots.
The different fight modes, all up to four robots, are:
Robot Rumble 2 is more then just a game, it is a passion driven project with a community of enthusiastic roboteers.
Join the Discord to download custom robots, custom arenas, custom AI's and have a great time with people that share a passion for robot combat.
Also join weekly competitions and tournaments with sometimes over 100 unique robots!
Robot Rumble 2 is a passion project built by and for fans of robotic combat. It is still currently being developed by a dedicated and active team, however this does mean that there are still bugs and placeholder assets that are in use. The game is fully playable in it's current state and has tens of thousands of hours of playtesting from our dedicated community.
- Select parts from a wide array of real life inspired components.
- Balance electric motors, speed controllers and batteries with an in depth electronics simulation.
- Set up strong flippers using pneumatic cylinders, valves and air tanks.
- Create super fast spinners or high torque lifters with gearing using chains, belts and an array of gearboxes.
- Construct your robot with basic parts and custom shapes, all fully simulated using a "welded/bolted connection strength" based damage model.
- Use real world materials, simulated to behave as in real life, utilising real life data.
- Decorate your robot with an array of different props, mechanical parts, decals or custom made shapes.
- Import and export custom robots to download more or share your own creations
- Program your AI to let your robot fight on its own using the miniscript AI editor, the options are endless!
- Fight in real world weight classes from the robot combat world: from tiny 3lbs/1.5kg Beetleweights to 340lbs/154kg super heavyweight behemoths!
- Fight in an array of different arena's, with hazards like hammers, rollers and pits.
- Import custom arenas that can be downloaded from the Discord
- Knock out your opponents in configurable matches: against AI or with up to four robots on a single screen!
The different fight modes, all up to four robots, are:
- AI vs AI, with the ability to custom-code each robot's AI script using the built-in miniscript scripting language
- Player vs AI
- Player vs Player - Local multiplayer
- Player vs Player - Online using Steam Remote Play Together, or 3rd party program Parsec
