REVEREND: Surf 'n Sin

REVEREND: Surf 'n Sin is the follow-up you didn't expect. A spin-off to the cult game REVEREND, this first-person shooter builds upon the gameplay and mechanics of the original, whilst throwing the story off the deep end. Have we jumped the shark? Water puns.

About the Game

Being a former reverend can be rough. While transcending down into the fleshy Hell Pit by the end of the original game, the reverend’s mind starts playing tricks on him. Remembering back to a time at which he had to go on a combined missionary and charter trip, his memories might not tell the true story of what happened.

A bite-sized boomer shooter that expands upon the foundation of the original REVEREND game, while adding some new features and twists to the gameplay.

A standalone expansion in the series for the developers to test a few new things in a fun new environment, and to gather feedback from players for the upcoming sequel while reminding them of the series itself in a fun and interactive way.

Think of it as a non-canon take on the world and characters with a more overt comedic tone in the vein of the Red Dead Redemption expansion - Undead Nightmare, taking place outside canon and just having fun. A more obvious inspiration would be the Duke Nukem 3D expansion pack - Life’s a Beach, taking place during a vacation of the protagonist.

Features

  • Fast-paced boomer shooter combat!

  • A focus on exploration in large-scale levels!

  • Many silly weapons to shoot your fishy foes with!

  • Brand New Mechanics!

  • A Carribean-infused sea shanty soundtrack!
