About the Game

REtreeRS is an approachable strategy game about forming the most connections possible between trees. It's a disco ball of color, nature, and music -- and also a fast paced, highly re-playable arcade score chaser.

A series of tree tiles are available for a limited time to rotate and shift around the globe, with the climate color of each area effecting how they connect to their neighbors.

Every placed tree activates certain tile triangles over time according to that tree's internal rhythm. Two neighboring trees will connect if their activated triangles touch. Once a connection is made it is sustained, even as the triangles continue to cycle on and off because trees work on a much longer timescale than us.

An Indie Game Album?

REtreeRS is track-based, with each track having it's own mood and musical accompaniment, mimicking a musical album. There is a discrete end for the main campaign, but it's highly re-playable: each track has a unique twist that makes high score seeking fun and fresh, with many tracks using tailored procedural elements so they are never the same twice.

Harmony and Flow

Drift into a flow state and feel the connections you're forming, the harmony you are literally a part of, as the music reacts to your moves.

We believe there is a harmony to the world, and even without knowing it we are intricately tied together. If we can work together to connect and contribute to the ever-changing beauty of this composition, we can make small changes that matter.

What does the world sound like for those who can see the forest for the trees? Who have the perspective - the time and scale - needed to listen?
