About the Game

RESIDUUM is an atmospheric psychological horror experience by Will Nightingale.

Abandoned in a decaying science research facility with only a shoddy flashlight, it’s up to you to take on the monster that hides in the dark. Keep the light wound up at all times, be cautious when moving around, and make your way out alive. This is truly a unique horror experience.

RISING TENSIONS

Armed with an unreliable flashlight and a faulty heartbeat sensor, you must descend deeper into the unknown, uncovering fragments of what remains. Keep the lights alive. Keep yourself alive and be careful near every turn.

Every shadow hides a secret. Every sound could be your last.

ESCAPING THE FACILITY

You needed the money. They needed a lab rat.

What began as an experiment in an underground facility soon descended into something unexplainable. You wake up alone, surrounded by silence — no way out, no one left. Only the hum of machines... and something else moving in the dark.

ESCAPING THE DISASTER

Explore and progress the game your own way in a semi-open world. You must explore and figure a way out. Search for what went down here - what has happened to the others? Why are you here? What creature lurks within the shadows?

FEATURES:

  • Explore a semi-open world underground facility consumed by darkness and dread.

  • A wind-up flashlight is your only ally

  • Unearth the story through scattered recordings, pictures and notes.

  • Immersive sound design and environmental tension that pull you into the abyss.

  • Dynamic and ever-present monster that aims to act like a roadblock, stopping the player from escaping.
