Fight, Defend, Fail, Upgrade, Repeat and Strike Back.

The Game is a classic arcade space shooter with roguelike elements.

After your ship is destroyed, you can permanently upgrade it, provided you have collected enough alien tech. With each upgrade, the visuals evolve too – from 2-bit black and white, through retro styles, all the way to modern graphics – letting you relive the history of shooter visuals.

Includes modding support – replace graphics and share your creations.
