About the Game

Lost in Grief REM is a melancholic and cinematic narrative experience set within the mind of a man plunging into solitude after losing his wife.

An artificial intelligence, born out of desperation, eventually ceases to be a mere tool and begins to question its own existence. As the lines between human and machine, memory and reality begin to blur, only one question remains: What is real?

More Than Just a Game REM goes beyond being just a playable story. Through a literary narrative published simultaneously with the game, the universe expands; the characters' pasts, motivations, and inner conflicts are explored in greater depth. This structure offers the player a layered and integrated experience.

Music That Tells the Story The original soundtrack, composed exclusively for REM, does more than just create atmosphere. Every track is a narrative tool reflecting the character's emotions and the story's breaking points. Here, the music is not in the background — it is a part of the story.

Gameplay Features

  • Narrative-Driven 2D Point & Click: An experience focused on the story through simple yet effective interactions.

  • Philosophical and Symbolic Puzzles: Built upon themes of memory, loss, and acceptance.

  • Choice-Driven Progression: The decisions you make directly impact the story and characters.

  • → 2 different endings.

Expanded Universe You can also explore the REM universe outside the game:

  • Literary narrative (simultaneously published story)

  • Original soundtrack album

The story is not just what you play. Are memories more real… or the codes that can rewrite them?
