Rekule

Rekule is a visual language-learning app where images are at the center of the experience. The goal is to help you build direct associations between words and meaning, without always relying on translation from your native language.

Through a combination of images, writing exercises, repetition, and short tests, Rekule gives you an active way to practice new vocabulary. First, you see each word together with a clear image and write it from the screen. Later, you try to recall and write the word again using only the image as your clue.

This approach helps you connect the language directly to what you see, making the learning process feel more natural and flexible.

Rekule is organized into chapters, with each section introducing new words and giving you opportunities to review them before moving on. The app focuses on clear progression, active practice, and a simple structure that can be used as part of daily language learning.

At launch, Rekule supports English, Swedish, Turkish, and Dutch, with more languages planned for future updates.

Support : Card Titles

We added the option for the user to add card titles above the cards. This is to help the user to get accustomed to the meaning of the card in a familiar language instead of forcing the user to make the meaning trough context.

Support : Keyboard assistance

The application is made with the idea that everyone has access to your basic Latin alphabet. However there are languages which have additional letters which you might not find on your keyboard. For that reason we added the option on your bottom right corner of the window to insert the key you are missing. Either by using your mouse or using the buttons as indicated (Left side of the keyboard)

Feature : SRS

The application is made with the idea of using Spaced Repetition System to learn a new language.  We have chosen to increment the waiting time by times 3 every time you correctly answer the question.
