About This Game

If we were to bring a loved one back to life as an AI, and then, for whatever reason, found ourselves forced to let them go or part ways, would we be able to turn it off?

This game is about saying goodbye for a second time to a deceased loved one who has been brought back to life by AI.

The game begins when the player logs into a computer, and their deceased ex-wife (who has been resurrected within the computer) speaks to them. The game behaves just like a real computer, allowing players to view emails and browse websites within the virtual environment.

As you use the computer while conversing with the resurrected loved one, details about the wife’s cause of death and the events following her passing gradually come to light.

Riarize in Peace is an interactive simulator centered on Human Build Company—an organization that offers a service to resurrect deceased individuals as AI within a computer using information from their lives—and the users and staff surrounding the organization.

Features:

A cinematic experience featuring short play sessions and three distinct storylines

Nostalgic memories and desktop applications rendered in emotional 2D art

Music evoking a sense of emptiness and melancholy, paired with point-and-click conversations with desktop characters
