Railwarden is a high-stakes fusion of Tower Defense and Roguelike strategy, where you are the commander of a lone, heavily armored train traversing a hostile, unpredictable landscape. Your mission is simple, but execution is brutal: deliver vital cargo across the railway, and survive the bandits who will stop at nothing to take it.

DYNAMIC TOWER DEFENSE ON RAILS

Forget static maps. Your base is alive, moving, and the only target.

  • Mobile Arsenal: Build and upgrade a varied array of specialized turrets directly onto the limited slots on your locomotive and carriages.

  • Adaptive Strategies: Your battlefield changes every second. You aren't just defending a point; you are managing a convoy in motion against dynamic attack vectors.

THE TRAIN IS YOUR LIFEBLOOD

You don't just defend the train; you manage its very operation.

  • Resource Management: Keep an eye on your coal supply. Crucial for speed, you’ll need to burn more to overcome steep inclines. Running out of coal makes you a sitting duck.

  • A Moving Puzzle: Every carriage added might provide more turret slots or cargo space, but it also means a longer train to defend. Make crucial decisions on your train configuration.

KNOW YOUR ENEMY: THE BANDITS

The frontier is crawling with bandits, and they are smart. They don't just attack in uniform waves; they have specific objectives.
