Radventure: The Rise of Ryle

Ryle, a half-elf, is in search of the grave of Dwemmit, his old adventuring partner, in order to pee on it. That sentence used a lot of commas... is it grammatically correct? Probably not. Based on a true story that I made up.

Additionally, Radventure utilizes high fidelity TTRPG inspired character renderings and splash images during dialog and cutscenes to further immerse the player in the narrative.

Radventure utilizes an “Active-Turn Based” combat system, so when an enemy is encountered, combat begins seamlessly in the game environment.

Exploration:

Interacting with an object or NPC can result in several outcomes, from gaining items and experience, to triggering unique cutscenes, VO options, and dialog scenes.

Story:

From the moment Radventure begins, it is apparent that this is not a normal narrative. After a brief argument between the main character and narrator during the opening cut scene, players find themselves in the role of Ryle, a Half-Elf Rogue in a traditional fantasy setting.

Ryle begins his journey in “The Dumpin’ Grounds”, a derelict graveyard, with a simple goal... To find the grave of his old adventuring partner Dwemmit... and piss on it.

This “simple” task quickly becomes more complex as Ryle is attacked by an assassin near Dwemmit’s grave! Uncovering a plot by some mysterious benefactor to kill off him and all his adventuring associates, Ryle must follow the threads to find out who is behind this sinister murder plot... and murder them.

Along the way Ryle visits several unique locations, meets a multitude of quirky characters, and may go on any number of optional side quests.

Will Ryle uncover the mastermind of his demise and put an end to this unsavory assassin business? Well... I mean, yeah... the game does have an ending.
