Quirk! Origins: A Jester's Tale is an interactive visual novel telling the story of a lonely, envious Jester. Separated from his twin sister at an impressionable age, when the royals chose her as their only source of entertainment. For years, the castles roared with laughter until one day, his sister mysteriously vanished.
Could this be Jester's chance to perform for the King's and Queen's of Playcardia.
Playcardia, a world set within the universe of a traditional set of playing cards; featuring the four kingdoms of Spades, Diamonds, Hearts and Clubs.
Rummage through the castles to find parts for each prank and unleash them on unsuspecting audience members to get a rise out of the Royal. Only then can you perform for them.
Follow the Jester's story in the hope to find victory and realise his life-long desires to become a Court Jester, and prove he is better than his sister.
The story is told on playing cards and interactable objects with a comic book style theme.
