About the Game

About the game

Quickcast is a strategy game about the battles of mages. Defeat mages of various elements and become the best mage!

You and your opponent battle with one deck!

You battle using a single deck of cards that combines your deck and your opponent's deck -- Poke at your opponent's weaknesses, discard cards that work against you, and remember that your opponent's cards can also work to your advantage!

Fast-paced battles based on matching rules!

Battles in Quickcast use the matching rule of identical cards. Remember that the more pairs you make, the stronger the effect you can trigger. Also, if you are at a disadvantage and a card you played matches a newly dealt card, you can trigger Quickcast. This gives you a chance to turn the tables on a disadvantageous situation!

8 Mages... and more!

Mages specializing in different elements have come together to battle for the top spot. Each mage has an element they focus on, and they use unique magic based on that element. Remember, if you defeat an opposing mage, you can make his unique magic your own! What will happen when you've defeated them all?

A free-roaming map.

The game takes place on a procedurally generated, grid-based map. Explore, battle, merchant, rest, whatever you want and reap the benefits!
