About the Game

Quest 108 is a single-player retro party RPG built around three clear phases: make decisions before battle, watch the battle unfold automatically, then use the results to improve the next run.

At the guild base, choose a trial, prepare a five-member party from a roster of 108 characters, set fixed front and back positions, tune equipment, and choose skills. Once the trial begins, the team fights automatically through compact encounters, letting you read the outcome of your preparation instead of controlling every action by hand.

After each trial, results and rewards bring the loop back to the guild. Better preparation, stronger characters, improved gear, and clearer tactical choices help the party push into the next challenge.

Key features:
- Pre-battle decisions are the center of play: party composition, formation, gear, and skills matter before the fight starts
- Automatic battles focus on readable outcomes, clear combat feedback, and watching your plan play out
- Post-battle settlement turns each run into rewards, growth, and the next round of preparation
- 108 characters to build, compare, and bring into different trial lineups
- Five-member party setup with fixed front and back slots
- Compact trial runs connected by a guild-based progression loop
- Retro top-down pixel maps and old-JRPG style interface built for PC

Quest 108 is currently in development. The core gameplay loop is set: pre-battle decisions, automatic combat, and post-battle settlement. Balance, content, presentation, and individual systems will continue to improve as the game moves toward a public Steam demo and full release.
