A cozy arcade roguelite. Aim true and time your hits against little monsters, pick one of three upgrades after every win, and build each 2–4 minute run your way. Every new monster you beat prints a sticker for the old cabinet you found in the attic. Insert coin to play?

9 itemsAbout the Game
Quarterheart is a cozy arcade roguelite about an old machine in the attic that still works — and slowly becomes yours.
Drop in a quarter, fight the little monsters on its screen, and win a sticker for every new monster you beat. Your goal is simple: cover the whole machine in your victories.
Drop a Coin
A run lasts 2–4 minutes, win or lose: a string of quick fights, a new upgrade after each one, and a boss at the end. Losing barely stings — and there's always another coin.
Fight Its Monsters
The basics are simple: aim at a moving monster and click true. Then each monster adds its own twist — one races and won't hold still, one splits into a swarm, one only takes full damage when you hit its timing ring, one drums out a beat your clicks should match, and one winds up a big counterattack you can parry by clicking at just the right moment. Eight monsters, eight twists to learn.
Build Your Run
After every win, pick one of three upgrades and stack them into a build: sharper crits, wider timing windows, safer parries, heavier charged hits — sixty upgrades in the pool. Beat the boss and the machine opens its next level: six in all, each with new monsters and a meaner boss.
Cover the Cabinet
Every first kill drops a sealed sticker pack into the tray. Peel it open and stick it on the cabinet, over the last owner's faded notes. Each of the six levels has its own versions of all eight monsters — 48 stickers to collect — and every sticker permanently unlocks new upgrades for future runs. Sometimes one prints with a shiny foil finish that makes its upgrades stronger.
The Longer You Play…
…the more the machine changes: the light of its screen, the sound of its jingle, the notes the last owner left behind. Quietly. You'll want to see it for yourself.

A note from the developer
Quarterheart is made by one person in Berlin, out of love for the humming machines that ate my childhood quarters. This one only ever asks for imaginary ones.
Feed it a quarter. Win your stickers. Make it yours.
