28 days ago, a call brought the news: your brother’s checkpoint had been overrun. The dead now surround it.

Your brother took a different path. He’s a scientist searching for a cure. You’ve spent your life as a cop, fighting and staying alive.

Reaching him will take a reinforced vehicle and a way to leave your own checkpoint in the hands of the U.S. Army.

You’re the last soldier alive at the only checkpoint still operating in the city’s north.

Your orders are simple: get as many uninfected civilians to safety as possible. If the infection escapes Chicago, the whole world could be next. Stand your ground. Purchase more weapons and strengthen your defenses. The Army says it will be there in 30 days. After that, your raid begins. Fight through the wreckage of Chicago, reach your brother, and do whatever it takes to save him.

Decide their fate with a cool head.

Every survivor has a story to share. That doesn’t mean you should take their word for it. Examine each person closely before making your decision.

Do you clear them to pass? Keep them for another screening? Or has the infection gone too far, leaving elimination as the only option?

Their fate is in your hands.

Gameplay

A first-person experience combining inspection simulation with zombie action.
Examine refugees for signs of infection using a full-body scanner and other inspection tools.
Choose what happens to each refugee: authorize their departure from Chicago, place them in a quarantine room for observation, or eliminate them.
Leave the base to clear areas overrun by the infected.
Make money to purchase weapons and restore your car, preparing for the toughest raid through Chicago’s ruins.

Equipment

Determine whether survivors carry an infection or concealed contraband. Inspect them in person and use scanners alongside a variety of specialized devices.

A reliable shotgun comes in handy, too.

The Undead

Each day brings stronger waves of zombies. Crawlers, Spitters, Aggressors, Marine Zombies… A reliable shotgun can make a difference. Sometimes, it won’t be enough.

Get Ready for the Raid

Fix up your car and prepare it for the punishing journey across Chicago to your brother’s checkpoint.

Whatever it takes, bring him back alive.
