About the Game

QBased GORILLAS is a retro-inspired 3D turn-based artillery game built around fully destructible voxel buildings and couch-friendly competition.

Grab a friend and play local hotseat—no enemy AI, just you and other humans taking turns. From the rooftops, you’ll choose an angle, set your power, and compensate for wind to arc explosive bananas across the skyline. Every hit blows through buildings voxel-by-voxel, blasting holes in cover, collapsing rooftops, and turning “safe” perches into falling debris.

Each match takes place in a randomly generated, highly customizable city. Tweak the world size, the size and number of the building, and the terrain height and varition. Then, watch as your settings become a brand-new battlefield that gets wrecked in real time.

Outsmart your opponent by creating new lines of sight, removing their cover, and landing the shots that bring the whole building down.

Features

  • 1-4 player battle it out locally or online using Steam's "Let's Play Togther" feature

  • Turn based gameplay

  • Classic artillery controls: angle + power

  • Voxel building destruction and collapses that permanently reshape each match

  • Highly customizable, randomly generated worlds for endless variations
