7 itemsAbout the Game
PUTRID/SHARP is an atmospheric horror/romance top-down RPG that features nonogram puzzle inspired combat.
Shortly following death, the body undergoes a process known as autolysis: as cells no longer sustain themselves, the enzymes within them begin to break down their own walls. Membranes balloon with gases as they gorge themselves on surrounding tissue.
Without the burden of being alive, the body begins to eat itself.
Ode is working at a grocery store in downtown Melbourne when his co-worker, Eurydice, vanishes. Driven by a bond between them he can't yet describe, Ode finds himself traversing through a decomposing world to save him.
Meet characters grieving their own lives, cut through rotting flesh, and try to piece together what forms Ode's feverish forward momentum.
Fresh -> Bloat -> Active Decay -> Advanced Decay -> Dry Remains
Get intimate with the stages of rot, each their own form of warped and disgusting.

There comes a point where it's hard to make out what flesh is alive anymore, you're going to need to figure that out quickly through nonogram puzzle inspired combat mechanics.
PUTRID/SHARP is linear narrative focused game and an elegy of internalized self-disgust and desire.
